HORMONAL IMBALANCE IN WOMEN.


Nowadays, it's a common issue that majority of us go through an imbalance known as Hormonal Imbalance.
Men and women both go through imbalances and alike can be affected by imbalances in insulin, steroids, growth hormones and adrenaline.
Today in this blog, I would like to share about certain things focusing on female hormonal imbalance.
HORMONAL IMBALANCE 

The most common symptoms in men and women includes:


  • Sudden weight gain or weight loss
  • excessive sweating
  • difficulty in sleeping
  • changes in blood pressure, heart rate
  • irritability and anxiety
  • changes in sensitivity to cold or heat
  • dry skin or dry rashes
  • headaches
  • reduced sex drive
  • changes in voice such as deepening of voice in females
  • depression

Hormones are chemicals that are produced by glands known as an endocrine glands. Hormones travel through the bloodstream to the tissues and organs, delivering messages that tell organs what to do and when to do. Hormones are important for regulating most bodily processes and may affect at large in body functions. Hormones helps us in many ways in regulating heart rate, sleeping cycles, reproductive cycles, general growth, metabolism and appetite, mood and stress levels, body temperature.

Women experiences some periods of hormonal imbalances throughout their lifetime including during puberty, menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth and breast feeding.

Other than this women also experiences other types of hormonal imbalance disorders than men because they have different endocrine glands and cycles.

It includes: 

  • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
  • early menopause
  • birth control medications.
  • ovarian cancer
  • primary ovarian insufficiency (POI) 

There are some other symptoms as well such as:


  • Osteoporosis 
  • heavy, irregular or painful periods
  • changes in breast
  • deepening in voice
  • weight gain / weight loss
  • indigestion
  • vaginal dryness
  • constipation and diarrhoea
  • acne during or before menstruation
  • infertility
  • hair loss
  • clitoral enlargement
  • uterine bleeding not associated with menstrual periods
  • increased of hair on face, chest or back, breast region.
  • skin tags or abnormal growths.
  • changes in thyroid activity


Treatment may vary according to the different types of hormonal imbalances.
Doctors mostly recommend for diagnosis , blood testing , testing related to thyroid or  through other medications.


The treatment may be cured through different types of supplements, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, depending on healthy food, meditation, surrounding with positivity, which will help in reducing stress levels, get the proper amount of sleep about 7-9 hours, avoid toxins, stay away from harmful chemicals, avoid things which is not good for health.
